Oh, Kirsten! Crisp bacon--check! Reserved drippings--check! Bacon salt--check! Really all I am missing is a candy thermometer to make this. I LOVE the idea! Normally when I bake a pan of bacon (flipping it to get both sides nice and crisp) I drain the drippings into my artisanal Kroger Pasta Salad plastic tub in the fridge. However, the other day on a whim I poured the drippings into a handy wide mouth pint jar so I've even got special reserved drippings. Oh, so very yum Thanks!
